Units 5 & 6

The first four units are done.  You now have a wealth of knowledge on the basics in dc electronics.  I know what you are thinking - "but I have only been at this for 4 weeks, what could I have possibly learned?"  In these two units, you will tie together what you learned about series circuits and what you learned about parallel circuits.  The world of electronics is made up of combinations of the two types of circuits.

But all is not lost, you have the tools necessary to analyze this new kind of circuit.  So let's start unit 5 and see how we can apply what you have already learned.

Unit 5 will introduce you to the series-parallel combination and give you the techniques to utilize the tools you already have.

Whereas Unit 6 will give you several new tools for analysing seris-parallel circuits.  We are building your "tool kit" for circuit analysis one tool (technique) at a time.
