During the competition each team will be given use of a 6 foot table on which their project will be displayed.  The tables will be laid out in such a fashion that the judges and spectators can walk from table to table and view each project.  Although the rules are the same for all grades, the teams will be divided into two groups.  The two groups are first through eight grade and ninth through twelfth grade students.

For both groups; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Ribbons will be awarded for:

  • Creativity
  • Complexity
  • Aesthetics
  • Use of moving parts
  • How well it met the team’s desired outcome
  • Use of the RCX or NTX Brick

There will also be an overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Ribbon awarded to the top three designs.
