The autonomous bot is to perform a designated task. This task will be posted on this web site on January 1, 2009. Your team's goal is to obtain the fastest time for completion of the task. Your bot will be given two attempts at completing the task. The fasted time of completion will be used to determine the winner. If there is a tie, the second time will be used to break the tie. However, the right combination of speed, and agility will not be enough to lead your team to victory. A great design will never become a marketable product if no one knows about it. Therefore, each team will create a poster outlining their design and give a 9 - 15 minute presentation on their design. Along with their presentation, each team will also turn in their design documentation. Rubrics used in evaluating the Presentation and the Documentation are provided under the Rules page. |
