Lego Competition
Lego Competition for
Students in Grades 9th - 12th
Overview:
The purpose of this competition is to
define a problem. Once the problem statement is developed, design and
build your solution, using only Lego parts. The design will be judged on:
- Creativity
- Complexity
- Aesthetics
- Use of moving parts
- How well it met the team’s desired
outcome
- Use of the RCX or NTX Brick
- Autonomous movement
- Movement based on human
interaction
Rules:
- All construction must be done with
Lego parts.
- No Glue or adhesives can be used.
- All members of the team must have
an active role in the project.
- The poster board must describe the
project and explain how it works.
- The designs must be original.
- Team size; 2 - 10 recommended but
not required
The poster board should be at least 24"
x 36" in size and be able to stand up on the table.
