of ACHIEVEMENTS: 2004 Outstanding Employee Award – New Teacher of the Year, GTC 2006 President’s Faculty Excellence Award, GTC and National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) BACKGROUND INFORMATION: August 2001 – present - I teach a variety of classes in the Network Specialist, Network Security, Web Developer/Administrator, Computer Support Specialist, Oracle DBA, and Sun UNIX Administrator areas. I also am very active in helping students review and work towards obtaining their certifications in Information technology areas: CompTIA A+, Network+, I-Net+, Server+, Linux+, Security+, Oracle OCP, Sun Solaris Network Administrator and Cisco CCNA.
My experience prior to joining Gateway comprises over twenty years experience working for companies such as Medical College of Wisconsin, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Snap-on Tools.
