Use the following information to help you log in to Gateway's Blackboard system:

Open your Internet browser (Internet Explorer 6.0 or better / Netscape 7.1)

1. Visit http://gtc.blackboard.com
2. Enter your Username and Password into the “Login Here” Module
3. Your Username is your Student ID number
4. Your default Password is the last three digits of your ID number (IMPORTANT – PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD THE FIRST TIME YOU LOG INTO BLACKBOARD)

How To Change Your Password:

 (CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION)

1. Click the “Personal Information” link in the “Tools” box on the left hand side of the Welcome screen to change your password.
2. Follow the links to change your password.  After you finish this process you will be taken back to the Welcome page. 
3. Locate the “My Courses” box on the right side of the screen to view all of the courses you are currently registered in.  You may click on the course number/title to access that course.

(Note:  Remember to write your password down and store it in a safe place.  No one at Gateway Technical College will have access to your password once you have changed it from the default password.)
