An online course is a vehicle for students who prefer independent learning; have work, family, or personal commitments that interfere with traditional class times; have transportation problems; are geographically isolated from a campus; or are homebound. These courses may be taken for personal enrichment, job advancemenmt, or to earn college credit. Students must have access to a computer with appropriate software for the course. Additionally, an internet service provider, World Wide Web browser, and e-mail package are necessary. Gateway does not provide hardware or software support at this time.
